Science East
During my time at Science East I was tasked with creating new brand guidelines and social media posts to freshen up their looks.
Colours
The colours chosen for Science East represent the spirit of fun and lighthearted exploration associated with science. The greens were taken directly from the green painted walls of the centre, and the classic Jonquil yellow is from their current logo. The vibrant and playful colour palette reflects the joy and excitement that children experience while engaging with scientific concepts at our centre.
Typeface
The typeface P22 Underground was picked for its soft yet modern look, which is perfect for a children's science centre. It gives Science east a credible look without appearing boring.
Working with Science East was a fantastic experience! I have always adored science centres since I was a kid, so designing with them was a dream come true! Even though my time working with them was short, I learned so much and would never trade that experience.
